Travel Directions

From Castle Douglas proceed north for about 16 miles on the A713 following the signs for Ayr until you reach St Johns Town of Dalry. At the monument turn right onto the A702 following signs for Moniave. Follow the road  for about 3 miles through the hamlet of Bogue. About one mile after Bogue turn left onto the unclassified road signposted Milnmark farm and Lochinvar. Follow this road for approx 1 mile past Duchrie Farm house and Lochinvar Cottage is on your right next to the Loch.
